Brake System Service and Repair
Brake system services typically include a few key components. First, the brake pads will be inspected and replaced if necessary. Next, the brake rotors will be checked for wear and tear. Finally, the brake fluid will be flushed and replaced with fresh fluid.
The brake pads are responsible for providing friction to stop the wheels from turning. If they are worn down, they will not be able to provide enough friction to stop the car effectively. The brake rotors are what the brake pads press against in order to create that friction. If they are damaged or warped, it can cause problems with braking performance. And finally, brake fluid is what helps transfer pressure from your foot on the brake pedal to the brake pads. If it becomes contaminated, it can cause brake problems.
