Battery
Your car’s battery is a 12-volt lead-acid battery. Lead batteries have been used in vehicles for over 100 years and are still the most popular type of battery today. They are reliable, affordable, and easy to find. When choosing a new battery, you should always buy one that is rated for the same voltage as your car’s original battery.
You can prolong the life of your battery by regularly cleaning the terminals making sure they are free of corrosion. You should also keep your battery charged above 12 volts. If you notice that your battery is losing power quickly, it’s time for a new one.
